Dr. Karmalawy is a Senior Advisor at Candor Partners. He has nearly 27 years of working experience at various Global Healthcare organizations with “in-depth” experience in all operational functions. Previously, Dr. Karmalawy worked as a GM and VP of Strategic R&D (across all business units) at Philips Healthcare, one of the leading Healthcare companies in the world. He was also a VP of R&D and CTO of Operations at Philips Healthcare. He has also worked as a President of Worldwide Particle Therapy Treatment at Varian Medical Systems, the world leader in Radiation Therapy (now part of Siemens Healthineers) in Palo Alto, CA. Dr. Karmalawy has many records of breakthrough growth and innovations in the global healthcare industry. Dr. Karmalawy obtained his Ph.D. and MS in Engineering from Concordia University (Montreal, Canada) and completed the Top Potential Leadership Development Program at Wharton School of Business, University of Pennsylvania. He is currently the Founder and ex-chairman of the Board of Directors for the Alliance for Proton Therapy Access.
